Hello! I’m the owner of Silver Spruce Studio, a business born from the desire to create beautiful things - from wearable art to creative fundraising campaigns. I’ve spent the majority of my career crafting strategic marketing campaigns across a multitude of industries, including biotechnology, the non-profit sector, and real estate.

I’ve also spent most of that time creating a wide variety of graphic assets, including corporate marketing collateral, website layouts, custom illustrations for scientific publications, ski topsheets, stickers, music posters, logos, interactive app interfaces, fact sheets, graphics for merchandise, and pretty much everything in-between.

I grew up in Novi, Michigan and earned by Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences with minors in The Fine Arts & Chemistry at Western Michigan University. After deciding to not pursue my original dream of becoming a neurologist, I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to pursue my love of the outdoors. There, I landed my first “real job” at NECi Superior Enzymes, where I worked as a lab technician & biotechnology research scientist, and oddly enough, began my graphic design career with custom graphics for a publication that I had the honor of working on. This opened up a whole new world for me once I could dig my hands into graphic design and pursue my passion for art in a practical way.

I moved to Crested Butte, CO in 2016 to again pursue my passion for the outdoors and explore a mountain town. Here, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Crested Butte Museum & LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, where my marketing & graphic design experience continued to grow. I also co-founded and operated a successful outdoor education camp for girls age 7-14, Good Life Girls. This business won the opportunity to complete a rigorous Business Accelerator program through the ICELab in Gunnison, CO - where my entrepreneurial skills were sharpened and the foundations of building a start-up were solidified.
